Tahldain sends along word that the
Quake III Arena Gold edition page on EBgames.com we mentioned last month (story) now features the box image, in case you are looking for a
mug shot to track the game down when it's available, or if you are curious as to
just how much gold is involved. Also, while not yet shown on the FINAL QUAKE: BFG PC page we likewise reported (story), that box shot is already available as a direct link as well. On a related note, Jonah
Falcon has found the Heroes
of Might and Magic IV order page, which likewise has the HoMM4 box art.
The Doom pack looks a lot like the Depths of Doom Trilogy, although it didn't contain Final Doom (which this one may or may not either), and had the master&maximum levels.
I'm guessing id are doing all these re-releases to take advantage of the new DVD size boxes in case stores w/ small gaming sections start getting rid of the old-chunkies. Can't see any other reason since all their games are still available at retail.
