I always thought these post release roadmaps were for the current fan base, stockholders, investors, media etc to keep the game relevant and familiar so that they would in-turn attract the attention of brand new players/money, thus maximizing the earning potential of a release by expanding the earning "window" for the game. I could be wrong obviously, its an educated guess at the very best. Maybe some people do look at things like a post release roadmap before they buy a game but I can't say I have ever thought to do that. What I see in the released gameplay videos has to grab me or I am not going to even get as far as a roadmap.

Yeah I can't deny that rumor. There's photo evidence. At least I was careful enough to make sure that my anime body pillows were out of the photo. That is to say... I would have made sure if I had them. Which I don't. At all.

Ubisoft, having huffed their own farts for so long, decided that AC gameplay was an exclusive fundamental category of game like a sports game or strategy game. They believed that you could slap on a new skin and push something out every year or two because they had this exclusive product that everyone loved.

I'm sure their brood of analytics people have already told them that it Star Wars AC isn't selling, Japan AC isn't going to sell either. My only speculation is the push back on Japan AC release is purely for shareholders, so they can showcase all the PR bullshit and preorder dosh in a different financial quarter before the dead release. Extra time to dump stock.

I haven't heard but is Dash Rendar in this game? Kinda a missed opportunity if they didn't since that also originally took place during 5 and 6.
