"Take it with a pinch of salt" essentially used to mean that you should expect that what you might read could be incorrect in some fashion. I would say that any information that you are given about anything should be taken that way.
The point brought up, that a label used is not what you would use or is improperly applied, doesn't prove that they are incorrect regardless of what they might report on. Rather, I assume, that they would prefer not to tacitly support one viewpoint or another while trying to stay neutral in their reporting. More to the point, what does it matter what any group is categorized as?
The most salient point, in my view, is what the hell does any of this have to do with a counterfeit gaming ring?
