Out of the Blue

Leaving behind its crew, Starliner departs space station and returns to Earth - Ars Technica. I know a lot of people talked about rooting for it to blow up, but I think it's fair to say that no good would have come from that. Spaceflight is inherently hazardous and as more manned flights go up lives will inevitably be lost even if safety is a top priority. But it is way past high time for NASA, Boeing and other principals to reverse the perception that they've grown complacent about safety over the decades, because there's no excuse for making exploring the final frontier more dangerous than it already is.

Safe Round-up

Fuddruckers always stuck me as someone asking their 8 year old to make up a swear word that isn't actually a swear word to use for the name of the restaurant. I thought their burgers were better than average but not worth the much higher than average prices they changed.

"Fargin IceHouse" is still available or "Suminumbatches", if you prefer.
