It's an asshole move, but not uncommon. The whole world watched Musk v Twitter story, no excuse for Wimynn to get blindsided or not understand how it could impact their current business with Twitter.
Wiwynn got caught bulk buying instead of staggering delivery of raw components. All that money tied up within inventory. Meanwhile, their competitor MiTAC was in a similar scenario and it's sales team found a way to move the product from the cancelled Twitter order. No lawsuit from them because they were clever enough to avoid the damages.
If you don't want to get f#*%'d, pull your pants up.
After Musk's acquisition of the social media platform, the company allegedly stopped paying for these products and cut off communication with Wiwynn. This abrupt cessation of payments has now led to the lawsuit.
This isn’t a twitter feud, nor an online debate. You cannot just block them and they go away. Contracts are contracts. If musk had even half a brain he would have gone over all the contracts or had somebody smarter go through them. Cancel or do whatever to work out of a contract he didn’t agree with.
But showing how smart he is, Nah just put them on ignore! They will go away. He probably poop emojis them too.
Fucking man child.
Rimmer: “Step up to Red Alert.” Kryten: “Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb.”
Who gives someone 61M worth of stuff and hope they pay? As the old saying goes, if you owe the bank a $1000 that's your problem, if you owe them 10M that's their problem.
