Is it weird that this is the first I'm hearing of a Borderlands movie?
Starting in February 2024 there have been over 10 links about it on Blue's.

The actors they picked are all top-tier actors. They just are not suited for the roles they were given for this movie. Kevin Hart is a comedian - so why was he given the most serious role as Roland? Roland was the one character who was played straight through the whole series. Lilith was very young - so why do you give her role to an actor in her 50's? Tiny Tina was 11 or 12 in the games. I can understand that they didn't want to deal with the extra rules regarding child actors but I think that they would have been better served with someone younger. The casting is bizarre.

Younger ones would have been less expensive and allowed more easily for sequels. I don't really go to the theater anymore, but I will pick it up on VoD in a few weeks.
I agree its not as bad as they are making it out to be.. but its not a triple A move either.. the biggest draw back is the cast.. they just didnt fit the roles very well. probably the biggest draw back is going to be those who never played the games just wont get the movie..
