31% of one American political party says vaccines are more dangerous than the diseases they prevent
11 percent of that group said vaccinating children was "not important at all," and an additional 8 percent said it was "not very important."
For the other group, only 1 percent was reported in each of those categories.

One wonders where these ideas are coming from. Hopefully it doesn't result in the extinction of one group of Americans.
I would not shed a single tear if anti-vaxxers and the scientifically illiterate went extinct.
Dying to own the libs.

I just accepted another job, and gave notice at this one. I'm contractually obligated to give them 8 weeks notice, but since I'm going to a competitor, they're asking me to work 2 then paying me to sit at home for 6.
As a result, I think I need to buy a new PC. I built this one in 2015, and have hardly used it in the past 3 years. 6 weeks is a good amount of time to go through... something. Cyberpunk? BG3? No clue.
I was just looking at pretty extreme builds, but I don't touch it enough. I think I'm going to try to go for a $1300-$1500 build. There's a Microcenter near me, which helps a lot.
I don’t know what else I’d trim from the extreme build.
I'm thinking 7800x3d and 4070 super. Can do the whole thing approximately $1500.

On the previous model of the Titan, there was cracking and popping that forced the crew to surface. No way to prove that was the case here, but that would be extremely nerve-wracking. No black box recorder was on board.
James Cameron indicated that it was likely that the submersible's early warning system alerted the passengers to an impending delamination of the hull.[83]: 08:05 He added "we understand from inside the community that they had dropped their ascent weights and were coming up, trying to manage an emergency."[83]: 08:13 Simulations suggest the implosion of the vessel took less than one second, likely only tens of milliseconds, faster than the brain can process information; there would not have been time for the victims to experience the collapse of the hull, and they would have died immediately. From the wikiWe will probably never know what happened.

The family of a French explorer who died in theTitan submersible implosion has filed a $50 million lawsuit, saying the crew experienced “terror and mental anguish” before the disaster
I’m guessing they won’t use Dale Molé as a character witness
The former director of the US Navy for undersea medicine and radiation health, said they would have died instantly and painlessly by the force under the depth of the sea.
“It would have been so sudden, that they wouldn’t even have known that there was a problem, or what happened to them. It’s like being here one minute, and then the switch is turned off. You’re alive one millisecond, and the next millisecond you’re dead,” he said.
