We're about free from the siding project, as the workers have removed the
scaffolding from our house. So we're almost out of the woods, though they'll
still have to move their tools and stuff along a bit more before we can start
parking here again. But we're right there, and it's a relief to put this behind
us.

I just accepted another job, and gave notice at this one. I'm contractually obligated to give them 8 weeks notice, but since I'm going to a competitor, they're asking me to work 2 then paying me to sit at home for 6.
As a result, I think I need to buy a new PC. I built this one in 2015, and have hardly used it in the past 3 years. 6 weeks is a good amount of time to go through... something. Cyberpunk? BG3? No clue.
I was just looking at pretty extreme builds, but I don't touch it enough. I think I'm going to try to go for a $1300-$1500 build. There's a Microcenter near me, which helps a lot.
