Again, ASUS! I want to hug these guys for creating this BIOS recovery utility. What a time saver! 💗

How are you today, Prez? Hope all is good.

Update: ASUS! You are awesome people!!!
So, while going through the ASUS manual, I found a page on recovering the BIOS if it fails or becomes corrupted during the updating process.
1. Download and copy the BIOS CAP file to a USB stick. I used the old version that was on the stick when I first assembled the computer.
2. Insert the USB into the USB port.
3. Turn on the system.
Not only did it recover the BIOS, but checking the System Information shows that it updated to the latest version: 1402! So it also salvaged the BIOS update.

Thanks guys. I was baffled.

it's a fucking Leslie 147 rotary speaker duahhhh... No for real, that's what it is.

A Leslie horn/speaker. Or, at least, that is what I have always heard them called. Some Standel amps from back in the 60s also had them. TFP might know more.

I mean, maybe if you bought 30 years ago and held it until now it would look "okay", but it would be crushed by other tech stocks and even the market in general. Then again, at least they haven't gone bankrupt... more than plenty of former SP500 companies can say.
If it wasn't for 15000 people, who are all most likely not in any way responsible for all this, losing their jobs I'd think this was really funny watching the stock tank.
