Yeah, but nearly all of these are from a time when you couldn't listen to the music before buying. You probably heard, at best, a single on the radio. Maybe 2, out of 7-16 songs.
Which probably explains I why I almost never bought albums near their release times.

Okay, I'll agree a lot of those album covers are pretty damn bad. However, seeing as I have never in 50+ years of buying music ever bought or not bought an album based on the cover art...

So you're saying that you bought, Corey Feldman, ‘Angelic 2 the Core’, for the music?
I'm saying I never knew it existed. However, if I listened to the music and thought it was good (seemingly doubtful) the cover art wouldn't stop me.

When an album cover is memorable it’s doing its job. Plenty of those instantly remind me of the albums they contain.

Half of the choices look like they’re just trying to be controversial. Slightly surprised Dark Side of the Moon wasn’t number one to get a few more clicks…

Blind Faith's album cover of the same name is pretty regrettable, too.

Yeah. If they'd take off the inexcusable listing of Revolver (a legit great cover) and sub in Blind Faith for it that would be a pretty decent list.

And of course the greatest album cover of all time...Spinal Tap's Smell The Glove.

I am going to say it is a pointless article. Although, I'll give them some credit for including a Beatles album...
