I’m sure Netflix is working on the same browser bullshit that YouTube now features prominently. After all the model does work overseas… Here, not so much

Really? I've always thought Netflix offerings suck. I rent it for a month a year and then it becomes abundantly clear it still sucks.

I am not a fan of demakes because they are never done by anyone who actually lived in the 8 and 16 bit era. Critical errors of demakes:
1) too much animation. Only the neo geo did heavy animation.
2) object resolution may be accurate but its rendered in high resolution causing unreasonable hq levels of scrolling.
3) color pallets are just all wrong.
4) rarely uses proper audio chips.
5) Gameplay that would never pass the first wave of brainstorming in the actual game.

It turns out the, "games" aren't computer video games but rather better described as, "interactive videos". I, "played" the Black Mirror, "Bandersnatch" video/game and it was actually pretty cool. This is the type of, "games" they are looking to make as apparently they are popular.

I wonder if Netflix is making AA, AAA, indie, or just mobile-sized efforts. Their eyes are lighting up with dollar signs when they look at the top performers on Google Play Store and iOS App Store, but all of those are mtx-laden, gacha, get-out-your-wallet games. Is that what Netflix wants to be known for? yuck...
