This is not specifically called Resident Evil 9, and other details like a
release window are not being discussed right now.

Nakanishi, who also directed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard: "It was really
difficult to figure out what to do after 7. But I found it, and to be honest it
feels substantial. I can't share any details just yet, but I hope you're excited

I've been really impressed with Resident Evil series after 6. That one, while not a bad game, seemed like the culmination of taking a game series in the complete wrong direction. All of the RE games since have been very good to great. They are, however, risking going to the well too many times too often. I'd suggest that they slow down and focus on several others of the amazing series that they own.

I never managed to finish Village or bothered to buy the RE4 remake. I'm in no hurry for another game in the series at the moment.

Sorry Capcom, but your shenanigans with DRM, your over-reliance on MTX and rehashing old games, and your 'mods=piracy' stance have cost you any future sales from me. There are better developers who make better games on which I can spend my cash.
