I took it to mean that it was made by millennials intended to appeal to younger generations. Millennials are well known for being woefully out of touch with what they think will appeal to the youth.

It's got like... all the hallmarks of a bad hero shooter game aimed at teens with no attention span. I mean, allegedly that's not what the game is, so it's just the trailer, but still it's just so stereotypical of that sort of game. The Shrek character faces, the whimsical tone that doesn't fit the rest of the series at all, the dialogue where everyone has to be making a quip every 2 seconds for fear of losing the audience's interest.

All that's missing is some Subway Surfers or GTA5 stunts at the bottom of the screen.

That Dragon Age trailer might be the worst game trailer I have seen in the last 10 years. Disastrous.
