I miss Dublin Dr Pepper .. there was one bottler who stuck with the cane sugar recipe, until sued out of existence a few years back.

7 minutes into launch. Looks like it was successful.

The only exception is Brio Chinotto with pizza.
Some restaurant here in Quebec offer this drink, I also love it, lots of complex flavors in it.

I remember years ago on a trip in US I tasted Dr Pepper for the first time and liked it a lot and had hope it will show up in Canada. It did! It's a bit like cherry Cola.

I just use Lipton black tea. No sweetner. Normally no other flavoring like fruit or mint, and very dark. You could probably use my body to test for chemicals Lipton shouldn't be using with the tea.

I'm with you, except I don't brew it. I drink ice tea when out. Restaurants, or when I'm in my office, which has free ice tea at all times.
Otherwise, I drink too much to make it reasonable to brew and store. I know it sounds ridiculous, as it could just be a treat, but it feels like more trouble than it's worth to me.

At home, it's just water, although Topo Chico has some seltzers I like. I think they're 5 calories or something, with no sweeteners, but enough flavoring to add some calories.

I don't drink pop unless I have to - rum and coke in bar because they don't have the mixings for a rum punch. The only exception is Brio Chinotto with pizza. A good Italian chinotto is a marvelous thing. I don't mind Dr. Pepper, never had a Mr. Pibb.

tee-hee

To be fair to Cutter, he's from Canuckistan. So was my late wife and through the entire time we were married she always used the word "pop". My former Canadian in-laws also exclusively used the word "pop". Here, I rarely hear "soda" or "pop". It's always "coke". It's all relative to geography and culture.

Sweet or unsweet? Personally I am currently drinking Crystal Light Peach Iced Tea.

Initially it starts out unsweet. Then I add a few Splenda packets to a quart Mason jar I drink out of and it is perfect. I usually brew with green tea since I prefer the lighter taste.

Dr. Pepper was my poison of choice back when I wanted to ram 40g of sugar into the helms deep of my pancreas. Oh free refills? Better make it 80 or 120g.

Been a couple of decades since I tried a Dr. Pepper, but the previous result was not good. One sip and I was quickly looking for something to wash the taste out of my mouth. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

If I drink a cola...and thats VERY RARE...it will be a Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb, and not diet. If you are gonna kill me with the ingredients...let me at least like the taste of them.
