Bohemia Interactive announces Frostline, a new expansion for DayZ coming to the survival shooter this fall. As the title suggests, you should pack your long underwear, as this is set on the "chilling Sakhal archipelago." Sounds about right. I recall in the early 2000s, most expansions and DLC for games typically took you to a cold/snowy climate location. They're not even that interesting, but seems to be the norm. Perhaps because it's easier to use a white color palette to build around and it doesn't need to go into as much detail? I'm not sure, but it seemed to be a common theme.
