Happy 420 Day, the annual celebration of cannabis culture. Attitudes towards
jazz cabbage have softened greatly over course of the nearly three decades of
Blue's News. When this site started in the mid-90s there was even a crackdown
underway in New York City, where it had already been decriminalized. Nowadays
grass is legal in 24 states, almost half the US. This includes my home state of
New York, where it was legalized in 2021. But feel free to joke that whoever is
in charge of this is on the pot themselves, as rollout has been glacial. So
while there are dispensaries all over New York City, most of the rest of the
state is lagging far behind. That's too bad, as marijuana has proven to be
helpful in so many cases, from easing chronic pain, to helping with insomnia, to
making Adam Sandler movies funny. So hopefully they'll work this out.

This is why vaccines against influenza viruses don't work. it mutates too fast. no one ever had "just a small case of polo, thank god i had the vaccine or it coulda killed me" moments. 90% lies and falsehoods about COVID. and no, I'm not against vaccines, just for those that actually work. (MMR, Tetanus, polo, smallpox...etc)
How does a polo vaccine work? Makes you afraid of horses? Ralph Lauren?
