Except it really isn't. It isn't competitive, it isn't a looter shooter and it isn't toxic either. Have you even played the game? This is a very small minority of idiots the article is referencing who don't even know how the game works.

Um, I don't have the game, but I saw that you can drop your loadout kit upon death. Having an extra kit could be useful for taking on the chargers or whatever they are called. But maybe it is also griefing.
