The guy that runs a social media site known for low effort shit posting, promoting sensational BS over facts, and an editorial bent that symphathizes with Nazis, is concerned about other social media and big tech destroying civilization, guess he wants to do that all by himself.

What I don't understand is that even a basement starter system shouldn't see more than a 1-5% performance boost by turning them off that by doing so you're making the UI worse for very little gain.
