They sure are taking their time. In the meantime, I played Dark Souls 1 and 2 for the first time after playing Elden Ring. Man, going from Elden Ring to DS1 was rough. No fast travel, awful rolling, lock-on issues. Still had fun with them though. Same cryptic dialogue with NPCs that just sit around somewhere until they just wind up dead or missing, seemingly at random. It's kind of charming.

Yea there is definitely some jank to the early Demon's Souls and Dark Souls games, but there is fast travel once you get the Lordvessel. Similarly I replayed DS1 and DS2 after Elden Ring and still love them both, and that's the 60fps cap Steam versions. I remember how rough 25-30 fps felt on PS3 back when I platinumed them all back then.

That said I'd easily put Dark Souls in the top 10 games of all time, probably even top 5.

Elden Ring is receiving a lot of Steam back-end updates lately. If it follows the trend of previous announcements then it's estimated that it would take a month after the initial update. It lines up nicely with Elden Ring's anniversary date on Feb 25th.

Of course this is all speculation but am excited to see it whenever it finally drops.

From Software has established an outstanding reputation through hard work and determination. And they did so without exploiting its players. It can be done.

I am enjoying enshrouded. It has some flaws, but overall it’s a very solid game.

Still running v1.2(?) pre Arena cause I didn't want pvp nonsense.
More importantly still having a blast with Enshrouded, which is only 1/3 of the game in Early Access release.
