Warcraft II Re-Released on Battle.net

Here's another re-release from Blizzard, as this announcement reveals that Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness is also now available on Battle.net, offering the chance to play this RTS game that first launched in 1995. Here's what's going on:
The kingdom of Stormwind lies in ruins. The greatest strategists of the Alliance and the Horde race towards a terrifying clash as war continues to rage across Azeroth. It’s up to you to defend this world and its people…or crush these pitiful weaklings and claim their realm for the Horde!

You can now add 1995’s Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and its expansion, Beyond the Dark Portal, to your catalog of games right from the Battle.net Shop. This game took the series’ real-time strategy to new heights and added greater tactical depth, expanding your armies with flying and even seafaring units. With bigger maps and more diverse armies, Warcraft II will challenge your strategic and tactical skills. Think fast and act decisively; the fate of your people depends on it!

Wish Blizzard would put an RTS on Steam. This or SC. I bought Diablo 4 on Steam for the $42 release price and enjoyed it until about lvl 70 then got bored. Maybe since both games they put there were heavily review bombed they won’t go further.

Microsoft controlled Blizzard is looking really weak sauce out the gate.
This game was years in development before Microsoft purchased Activision. Wait a year or two for Blizzard to release the slate of projects they worked on under Activision's boot.

Tried to redeem my old CD key for it but would not work. They could have at least allow you to do it for this game.

Microsoft controlled Blizzard is looking really weak sauce out the gate. I'm just waiting on a 3D Minesweeper game to be announced at this point.

There's no way that this can be nearly as much of a shit show as when they released WC3 Reforged some years back. No company is that stupid.

Right?
