You know, before this launched I called out for people to wait. The Witcher 3 was a broken mess for the first year after launch, and people should show restraint.
In a great example of "do as I say, not as I do". I bought the game on launch and played it feverishly.
Then again on the 1.5 patch, then again with 1.7, going back through old saves on 2.0, and I'll dip in again for 2.1
It'd be nice if marketing teams could all just find work elsewhere, and let game devs work their magic in their own time.
Imagine how much time and planning it takes to make a blockbuster movie, like the new Mission Impossible.
Now times that number by a bajillion, that's the complexity of a project like CP2077. New self-made engine, new IP, new genre, state of the art. It's impressive it was made at all, it gives Rockstar a good licking as far as production value goes. And lord don't get me started on all the articles popping up in my feed about how "state of the art" the RAGE engine is LOLOL. We'll seeeeeeeeeeeeee sooooooooooooooooon!
