VORs and all other land based NAVAIDs are getting decommissioned at a pretty rapid pace, especially in the USA. I can't imagine they are being kept operational in the rest of the world either. Obviously it'd be better to keep them as backups, but of course, shit costs money, and the techs who can even repair them in the first place are all retiring or dying off, and they don't seem to be making spare parts either, at least at the rate they were 20+ years ago.

Get used to GPS only, with regular GPS interruption attacks(or just overlap interference, intended or otherwise). It should be fun flying or sailing in the very near future.
