Yeah, I was still subscribed to Netflix when I got the notice it was cancelled. Before streaming it was the bomb.
Not a horror fan, but I do like some horror. I've never seen Cabin in the Woods, and had no idea what it was even about, but a podcast I follow, Filmsack, is 'sacking' it this week. I've discovered a lot of movie's I'd normally never watch by watching it for Filmsack. I was going to pass, but once I read up on the movie, I was intrigued. Not your usual horror movie. Will likely watch it tonight.

Xerox machine was a big one as I remember, and as a maintenance worker I remember being surprised when I found out that 'Channel Locks' were not the generic name of the tool. It's actually 'slip joint pliers'.
Prez wrote on Sep 29, 2023, 20:10:Horror has been undergoing a bit of a renaissance the past decade or so, with some amazing creativity. This is probably due to the lower risk that comes with lower budgets. Some of my favorites:WannaLogAlready wrote on Sep 29, 2023, 19:28:
Prez,
Talking of movie hooks:
Was riveted seeing Evil Dead Rise, but cowardly noped out 2 thirds on and erased the movie.
So good, so real, but don't want more of those vivid memories, thank you![]()
Rinsed that with Killer Joe’ (William Friedkin, 2011) with Matthew McConaughey in a memorable interpretation, deservedly a Saturn Award for Best Actor.
Horror is my favorite genre. I can't wait to be able to watch Evil Dead Rise. The trailer was very creepy.

Is it possible to be overcaffeinated? Rhetorical. Although, only barely so for me -- I drink a lot of caffeine every day...
I once consumed 3 Monster energy drinks before lunch at work because I didn't sleep the night before. I was definitely overcaffeinated. I thought my heart was going to explode.you should check out the new castlevania series on netflix. phenomenal. none of the awkward writing that really bugged me about the first series.
I'm finishing up 'Edgerunners', then that will be my next one. Thanks!

I hate horror movies with a passion, but I feel like I have to watch it after seeing how they cook eggs.

My favorite beverage! ☕ However, I limit it to one thermos per day. Wait, has Thermos been genericized? Just had to look it up. Yes, it has been genericized. I've also found a few that are kind of surprising: Bubble Wrap, Hula hoop, Jacuzzi, Rollerblade, Speedo, Taser, and Velcro 😉
Frisbee, Allen Wrench, Band-Aid, Popsicle, Zamboni
