Atari Gamestation Pro Preorders

Atari and My Arcade announce preorders are underway for Atari Gamestation Pro, the latest reissued gaming content from the console glory days of Atari. This includes over 200 titles, including games from progressively more complex (and arguably less successful) 2600, 5200, and 7800 cartridges along with coin-op arcade titles. Here's word:
The Atari Gamestation Pro (DGUNL-7012) is the first console on the market to integrate the Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Arcade and bonus titles into a single platform. Included are heart-pounding favorites like Adventure®, Missile Command®, Asteroids®, Centipede® and many more!

The Atari Gamestation Pro arrives with not one, but two 2.4GHz wireless joysticks, inspired by the iconic originals. For those looking to reignite the magic of paddle games like Breakout® or Warlords®, fear not – the joystick controllers with integrated paddles have you covered. Indeed, the paddles feature three sensitivity settings for custom user preference.

The Atari Gamestation Pro features plug-and-play simplicity and wireless connectivity that makes diving into retro arcade games on your TV a breeze. Navigate the intuitive user interface that lets you search for games by Atari system. Dive into game overview pages that provide insights and gameplay actions for mastering each unique challenge. In-game save options allow you to save your progress.

I keep beating a dead horse here but I still fail to see the appeal of this. Games with ancient graphics, ancient controls, and horrific sounds. Games like missile command and asteroids etc. all one note games with 1 or 2 mechanics in each.

And yea I grew up in this era, my first console was an Atari 2600. and no I do not feel the desire to go back to that time.

This was era of the box art being better then the game.
I hear you. That said, I have to admit being pretty fascinated by this:

Whoa
Add Joust, Q-Bert, Tetris and Dragons Layer and color me snagged.
Trouble is, none of those are Atari games.

But yeah, Joust for sure. I hadn't thought about Dragon's Lair, but that's an excellent thought. I have never been attracted to the ports, but I'd love to be able to learn to play that through on a stand-up arcade machine (without spending $6000 in quarters). It looks like they make a Joust model and a Dragon's Lair model too. If I end up with a wife angered over a huge collection of arcade machines in my office, I'm sending her after you!

I'd like to see the list of the 200+ titles. I messaged the site. If they list it, I'll post the list or URL here.

Hmmm...no specs to be found but the size suggests a ARM SBC.
