The EU being sensible again. They're starting to make a habit of it. This is worrying - how am I supposed to be all "'Murica, FUCK YEAH!" if the EU keeps doing what the American regulatory bodies won't?!?

It’s kinda nice, right? Sure the EU is flawed, no government body is ever perfect. But when the EU implements something companies have to abide by it or pay fines.

And yeah it’s not the actual EU… yet. But unlike the US when enough pressure is applied the EU will investigate. It’s not like the US where they will just blame democrats and something, something, bidens laptop.

It's fucking pathetic here in the US with half of the Congress bought-and-paid-for by the very people they are supposed to be regulating, and the other half hung up on stupid shit no one but what a brainwashed vocal minority care about .

It should never be forgotten that no one is ever forced to sign a contract he doesn't like...;) If you don't like a clause, X it out, initial it, and say, "I love it except for what I've X'ed out here." And if the contractor says, "Tough, it stays." That's when you tear up the contract and say, "Tough, yea!" and walk.
It is well known that I cannot err--and so, if you should happen across an error in anything I have written you can be absolutely sure that *I* did not write it!...;)

The EGDF is just an association of developers, so there's no surprise on where they sit on this. Hopefully this goes somewhere but goodness knows if it will.
