Before release CP2077 2.0 and PL please check conditions of your cooling systems in PC. We use all what you have, so workload on CPU 90% on 8 core is expected. To save your time please run Cinebench or similar and check stability of your systems 😉

Of course not. CDPR is the best example for a „fool me once…“ situation.

Not that I'm concerned about this warning, but what software do people recommend for monitoring CPU and GPU load and temps? I built a new PC and I'm curious how well everything is cooled.

Top bad I likely won't be buying anything from this company again, at least not at full price, and sure as hell not pre-ordering. Never again. 🙂

Also to whoever said: "they're ditching this engine so they know they don't have to optomize it". Have you played CP2077? It looks phenomenal at very playable framerates.
Hey, their programmer said your system might overheat, not me. I was just offering an opinion on why. I did play CP2077 and it was great time.

I've turned off auto updates for my Cyberpunk install on GoG to be safe with this given its on an older machine at this point. I figure no matter the heat that it probably wont run too well on a 4c8t chip.

Desalus wrote on Sep 12, 2023, 15:13:I just use Coretemp and GPUTemp, they're super small, lightweight, and display the temp beside your clock when they're minimized. I think that's all you really need unless you want an overlay while playing, but just for temps I think that's overkill.

Libre Hardware Monitor since I am assuming you are on Windows. Temps, speeds, deltas...everything you could want in a monitoring software and it is free without a bunch of crapware bloat bundled in.

Viral Marketing at its worst.
We use everything your system has to offer. Our new XYZ dlc is so demanding it could put your processor into an Nth Loop Critical Overheat Cycle and neuter your neighbors.
