Delaying it every quarter won't make people happy, just be honest and say that you need another 2 years or so. That's better.
It would also be truthful to remind people that they are a Ukrainian company that was/is based in Kyiv...that has been heavily bombarded. Anyone with an ounce of sense would go "Oh, yeah, guess it would be hard to finish a game in the middle of your country's war for its very survival."
BoP, to quote myself:

But this is alright: take all the time you need, developers. Just don't push it out early.
Okay?

It would be nice to hear a realistic release date though. Delaying it every quarter won't make people happy, just be honest and say that you need another 2 years or so. That's better.
Right? Like saying: "Guys, thanks to Russia invading our country and attacking us and all of the Western nations trying to first outwait the war and then to hand us over almost only outdated military material they had in their scrapyards and then telling us to go all attack without having aerial superiority and with THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of mines in front of us, that Russia was able to work on because we got no support to defend us more actively last year, we just got other problems to solve. So, to be honest, we won't be able to finish this in a year. Thx to Russia, it will be two years, maybe even more. Slava Ukraini."
This would be honest and would get them more goodwill then "Moved to Q1/24. And then Q3/24. And then..."
Ukraine got a bigger problem to solve than releasing S2. I know. They just should say so to make people understand.
...we yet realize that America's leadership and prestige depend, not merely upon our unmatched material progress, riches and military strength, but on how we use our power in the interests of world peace and human betterment.
