fact sheet on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Website indicates a delay to GSC
Game World's first-person shooter sequel into 2024 (thanks
Wccftech). The previous word was that the
irradiated first-person shooter sequel would finally arrive this year. According
to the fact sheet the launch is pushed out to Q1 of next
year:
S.TA.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl releases on PC and Xbox Series X/S in QI 2024. The game will be available on Game Pass day one, and pre-orders are opened on our website, as well as on Steam and GOG. Pre-order of physical editions available on official website

AFAIK it's pronounced the same whether you spell it with an 'e' or 'o.' Using the traditional spelling rather than the globalized one is just them putting their pride for Ukraine right on the face of their product.
