Looks great, although I didn't see any Mimic Tear to use to get through difficulty battles.

Nice! Sad there's, I believe, no co-op in this one though. Not sure if I'll buy it day one or not, but it's awesome to think we're getting it on PC.

One of the 5 games I am hyped for And this gameplay showcase was the most honest one I have seen in a long time, bit of janky movement, but it looks like skill based combat, cool mech loadouts and interesting levels. Not enough for pre-order (only BG3 gets that honor) but still ;p

Just curious ( I completely understand not liking Fromsoft's games), what Mech games do you like? Like Mechwarrior 5 slower sim style?

This is definitely more anime-ish than any sort of sim, obviously. I'm looking forward to it, but I can see it not being for everyone.

This looks more mecha than mech. Too bad, I was hoping for something more sim-like with VR.

Yes. I have been a fan of the MechWarrior series since the 1990s. I haven't finished MechWarrior 5 yet (too many games...) but what I have played was enjoyable and I'm planning on a full playthrough including all DLCs one of these days/years. I also really liked BattleTech or the old MechCommander games.

But this one is not for me. Fromsoft is a major turn-off already, but also looking at the gameplay, it seems pretty clear to me that this is 100% a console game with repetitive twitchy skate, strafe & jump wars. Add the typical Fromsoft punishing design that does not respect a player's time: High difficulty, no saves except at "campfires", loss of progress on death and you got me giving this a hard pass.

Yeah there is limited if any overlap between Armored Core and Battletech. I prefer Battletech but I've been a fan of Armored Core since the very beginning.

Please bring back Chrome Hounds!!!

After the SoulsBorne / Elden Ring games FromSoftware is probably my favorite dev out there now. They make such awesome ARPGs with unique online play (jolly co-op, pvp etc). Absolutely love how the company does their own thing that doesn't feel and play like every other handholding game out there these days. Really don't understand the random people coming here to hate on them, do you only buy EA and Nintendo games or something?

This game has not been on my radar and not familar with the AC series. Looks interesting, if reviews rave about it like they usually do From games I'll get it.

You realize FromSoft pretty much started with Mech Games right? Before Souls games made them famous.

Haven't played an action-oriented mech game in a long time.

Looking forward to playing it, but not going to play it at launch as I'll be knee-deep in Baldur's Gate 3.

Exact opposite for me... don't like Mech games, but interested because it's a Fromsoft game.

i'm mech-curious but this being a fromsoft game means, i assume, it will be locked at 60fps and won't support ultrawide resolutions.

I'll probably check this out at some point, but with Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield coming out soon, I think it'll be next year on sale.
