i'm mech-curious but this being a fromsoft game means, i assume, it will be locked at 60fps and won't support ultrawide resolutions.

it's coming out on pc, why wouldn't it support ultrawide? i've had an ultrawide monitor for almost 10 years. i've never seen a AAA release that didn't support it.

as for the rest, mech/mecha games are pure fantasy anyway, so there's no point arguing whether this or battletech is more realistic. neither are at all, so it's a matter of taste. personally i can get behind both/either. never played this series, but i already dig the garage style customizing and all the shooty shooty whiz bang. this'll be a nice appetizer for when starfield comes out.
