Out of the Blue

I'm happy we're back to normal in the Blue Tower following yesterday's blackout. Events like that are rough, but the timing could have been worse than falling on a Sunday. What's frustrating is that I had enough battery power to work through it, but it was impossible to connect to the internet. The power outage wasn't widespread, but I suspect it took out our nearby cell tower. The outage did make me aware that one of my PSUs needs a new battery, but other than that, there wasn't much else I could do. So I'll get that replaced. Maybe I should get an extra for that cell tower?

The Washington Post had a good article yesterday on Fondomonte's alfalfa operation in Arizona:

Disappointing, but completely unsurprising.
We get their oil, they get our water.
What's not to like. /s
