I think bike security relies more on where the bike is locked than how.

plenty of ebikes and scooters here, even in the village. I have an ebike, its a power assist rather than pure ebike. I ride fairly normally and it kicks in on the inclines. Great to visit the local supermarket for a quick shop on a good day. With a rucksack on it covers the 4km quite easily and hardly loses charge.
Plenty of kids on escooters too, most stick to the cycle paths which helps as they do go at a fair pace. Most have probably been derestricted.
How you securing e-bike in front of places you visit so they don't get nabbed?
You carry around the thickest chain, locks and u-locks that money can buy and hope no one watchs the Lock Picking Lawyer LPL.

I use a lesser model, the Kryptonite Keeper 785 Bicycle Chain Lock 7mm four-sided chain, 33.5-Inch.
This can be cut through with bolt cutters, but where I live (small town) any chained up bike is safe. Many times I just chain the wheel to the frame when I'm at the coffee shop.

Interesting, didn't know there was such a thing as a referral block, but not completely surprising. I'm going to guess they have a wildcard block on referral links with certain sites whitelisted.
Seriously though, if they are actually blocking referrals I can't even begin to imagine why.
I say we give them a reason for why.![]()

Is anyone else getting this message on the Deckard link? I have definitely been on Dark Horizons before... Did they go paywalled or something? I'm using chrome btw
It's a referral block - if you go there from bluesnews it blocks, if you open new tab and copy it in it works.
so apparently Bluesnews is now blocked from linking to Dark Horizons.
