And since I was his hostage for a couple hours I made him take me over to the ISP to figure out wtf was going on. Currently it is shit (12meg'ish, depending on load, rain or fog) and uses a line of site microwave doohickey aimed at the base antenna a couple miles away on a central hill.
The guy in the office said the upgrade was not ready yet and that they would need to replace the microwave doohickey, but get this, the service would be 100Meg for no additional charge. At that point I jokingly said Bull Shit. Hey, if it happens it happens. I'd just like to be able to stream netflix and download a game at the same time.
Ford would sell you any color Model A you wanted as long as it was black.

Awww, man, I envy you. Hatching season was my favorite time. They're adorable little fuzzballs but they are also quite loud and you have to be on constant unintended suicide watch. Obviously the chickens you are looking after may be different as most people don't socialize their chickens as much as Mrs. Burrito did. They had no problems with either her or I handling their chicks.Having one nestle in under your chin and fall asleep is adorably priceless.

I have heard nothing but horror stories from LoS radio internet, especially when it comes to weather interference as you mentioned.

I just replayed this on Steam last week. Focused on the main story and not the DLC's though this time.

With the 2K graphic patch from NMC, plus the NVAC anti crash, plus the Yukichigai Unofficial Patch. The game became playable as before it would crash randomly. The default game is highly unstable. Even with these community fixes, I had the game crash on me occasionally, And ran into weird script error that required console commands to progress the quest at all.

I recommend getting the FNV 4GB Patcher as well. To let New Vegas know it can use more RAM then it defaults too.

All of these are on Nexus mods. I definite must have.

One of the best RPGs of all time, I just wish they'd release an official 64 bit patch for it. Or even better, an official remaster
