Out of the Blue

Not long after I had some nice things to say about Xfinity, our ISP/cable provider sent an email saying it has dropped the NFL Network and NFL RedZone in one of those carriage disputes customers love so much. I've experienced these in the past, and they usually go on for a short while and then one side blinks and things go back to normal. The thing is, the last time this happened was when Xfinity dropped the MSG Network in October 2021, and that still has not returned almost a year and a half later. I tune into Giants games directly, but NFL RedZone is by far the best way to watch the rest of the action on a Sunday, and I refuse to give it up without a fight. It appears I could choose to go back to Optimum, which wasn't an option when we moved, so I think I'll explore that today.

It didn’t last long. The channels were back on by midnight. So looks like NFL blinked.
