Remember the "Passenger of Business Jet Is Killed in ‘Severe Turbulence’ headline.
Turns out there was no turbulence, just plain ol' pilot error or it has something to do with The trim system of the Bombardier Challenger 300 twin-engine jet was the subject of a Federal Aviation Administration mandate last year that pilots conduct extra safety checks before flights.

Having watched the aviation disaster stories put together on the YouTube channel MentourPilot. You’d be surprised at just how quickly even the most modern planes can turn into shitshows and get people killed.

I watch mentour pilot.
It's terrifies me that you can take a perfectly sound aircraft at 30,000 ft and in less than 3 minutes it's smouldering rubble. (Aeroflot Flight 593)
And that's just pilot error, now toss in accidents caused by weather, mechanical failure and maintenance errors.

My guess is they were lucky to get that Bombardier back under control with only 1 fatality.
