What were they waiting for? To see if they could cover it up?

Given you post 100 articles per day, I'm sure you don't have time to read them all end to end. Maybe ChatGPT can help?ZenAbra wrote on Mar 19, 2023, 16:46:I did not vet that article properly... I'm not sure what happened, but I did not intend to post something like that, particularly under "science." I removed the link. I appreciate the benefit of the doubt.
I gotta admit: I'm hoping Blue just didn't look closely at the "Why Smart People Believe Stupid Things" article. It's deeply disturbing.
It does a fair job disguising its true intention, and I'm sure plenty of people just skimming the first few paragraphs may not realize it.

SlimRam wrote on Mar 20, 2023, 01:24:We went hiking yesterday. My wife says, "I could never go hiking anywhere that had bears" out of the blue. We live on an island and the nearest bear is 3000 miles away. The largest fauna on the island are wild pigs. Oddly, a few minutes later we ran into a little 20 pounder rooting around in the leaves under the guava trees. I suspect it was someone's pet that had escaped (or was just on an adventure). First it was a light brown, and the wild pigs here are black. Second, it was completely undisturbed by people talking and walking by, whereas my other chance encounters with wild pigs have them bolting into the woods as soon as they hear you. Third it's tail was continuously wagging, a behavior I've never seen in a wild pig before.
Me in that situation: “Yes, the bear's coming closer to me now yes...I can see it, hey honey, I think I just filled my pants. I know that you and I can both smell it but, do you think the bear can smell it? I mean my pants are really full right now. I'm waddling to the left side of the trail yes, over to the left side I'm waddling oh yeah... These pants are full".

Blue: I have a special ringtone just for my wife (she has the same ringtone on her phone for me). It's the sound of the presidential red phone from "In Like Flint".
When it goes off in public, I'll occasionally get a priceless look from people who are fans of the In Like Flint movies.

Sounds like Austin Powers to me. I'm too young for In Like Flint.

This article is like one big strawman argument about "woke" views.
