To a certain extent, it no longer matters how bad the game is, or if anything worthwhile ever gets produced. They already 'won' from a capitalism/cult standpoint, people are giving them hundreds of millions of dollars to suffer through these buggy pre-alphas.I don't see why the company will ever change what it's doing, or even attempt to finish in our lifetimes. These developers are set for life, half-assing or quarter-assing their way to retirement off of their investosr/cult members/customers.

I remember when I bought my Radeon 7990 and I was able to pick 3 games, Star Citizen being one of them. I received a starship called the "Mustang Omega". Last time I logged in, all the space ports had nonmoving characters standing around like I was frozen in time.
