As for Doom Eternal. I am really torn. It looks great, at times it's fun as hell, but I have tried, and I just can't finish it, and I'm maybe 6 hours into the game. The game play is very different. The boss levels feel more like they belong in Serious Sam, with rediculous traps and gimmicks. That by itself is not bad, and can sometimes be fun, but it feels very gimmicky at times. But the damn Parkour style jumping is infuriating. It's more like an arcade platformer when you're trying to get through one of those areas: Run fast and jump straight at wall, slide left just the exact amount, jump to the next hard to discern platform, slide right just the right amount, jump to the next hard to discern platform or handhold, rinse and repeat until you fall. When you fall, you have to start the ENTIRE tedious process again.
From reading others opinions below, maybe I'm on the worst parkour section now and if I can just get past it, maybe I can enjoy it again, but even with a detailed walkthru I'm finding that section excruciatingly painful.
