I feel like making another Alien movie at this point is basically like making another Jason movie or the making of "insert any B-movie franchise here". After what Ridley Scott did to his own franchise with Prometheus and Covenant, I have absolutely no expectations that this will turn out anything other than shit.

Should have given this over to Bloomkamp back when he was the hot shit, he probably reveres the actual franchise since it's what he grew up with, unlike Scott who looks at it like it's a money printing machine.
