There has been talk about CSGO moving to Source 2 engine for like 10 years, I really hope this is it. Sure naysayers always want to keep everything exactly the same forever and have no progress, but that just makes things go stale and fall behind. It would be great to see it move to a new engine with better technology, multi-threading, graphics options, etc.
Even though I don't play CSGO anymore always wanted some tweaks to gameplay too like tactical reloads (where you reload a mag that isn't empty it's a shorter reload becuse you don't have to pull bolt or push bolt release).

It's only 22 years late! lol. That said, I think if they just continue to update CS GO with an updated engine, that's all that needs to happen. That game is fine tuned and balanced well enough that it just needs to keep up aesthetically with the times and have some serious anti-cheat. Otherwise there isn't really any reason to re-invent the wheel.
