I think everyone just needs to make up their own mind. Not sure we should be banning games just because they're made by citizens of a country who's ruler is a justifiable pariah.
I can see both sides here, and I am undecided myself. It is just a game, but yes taxes will go to the Russian government. However, this is a drop in the bucket compared to oil profits, and we still have western aligned allies buying their oil. Maybe we should be doing more about that.
If you're uncomfortable with it, don't buy the game.
But on the other hand, IT'S A GAME. I have played countless war games where I have slaughtered countless Russians, Germans, Chinese, Japanese, soldiers from vaguely renamed Soviet satellite states, Iranians, Iraqis, Syrians, and even Americans, Norwegians, Brits, French etal in computer games. I'm not particularly tormented about it.
Do what you feel is right in your heart.
I probably won't consider this game myself, until maybe after the war is over.
