Is it a buzzword? Yes, but at least this time there's actually useful technology coming out of it (unlike the last widespread buzzword "blockchain")

I was listening to the TWiT podcast yesterday, and heard an interesting theory for why Musk is no paying his past due rent on some properties.

This theory comes from a financial report released by Microsoft about re-negotiating it's leases on office space since they just laid off a massive number of people. It's actually costing MS $500 million to downsize their office space around the world, mostly due to having to pay to get out of leases early.

Twitter is in the same boat, but the theory is that Musk is willing to risk just not paying, and hoping to pressure the landlords to drastically renegotiate the end of leases out of court, at a better cost for Twitter, rather than eat the full price of paying to get out of the leases.

Risky gamble, but it's obvious from past experiences that he doesn't mind throwing dice in court cases.

Anyway, keeping the popcorn bowl handy while watching the gun and games.

If by 'saved from bankruptcy' he means 'just about killed it myself', then Musk is correct.

Musk should morph his self driving AI tech to into making twitter profitable.
But somehow I think a sentient AI would continually respond with "you made a stoopid purchase."

Watching the video, AI powered search makes perfect sense. It can aggregate answers for you, saving you time for some searches.

It is well known that I cannot err--and so, if you should happen across an error in anything I have written you can be absolutely sure that *I* did not write it!...;)
