Gtk, thanks! I'm still on 30 series, but knew I remember seeing DLSS and guessed it was parity based.

Pretty crazy, I got a 89fps increase, 35->124 from off to on with DLSS3.

Frame generation is awesome. I've been using it with The Witcher 3 Next Gen and with MSFS. It's a huge performance boost with no negative effects in games like the aforementioned ones. With nVidia Reflex on Ultra there was absolutely no noticeable input lag.

Nice to see it make its way into Cyberpunk. Personally, I will probably be owning a RTX 5090 before I get around to buying the Cyberpunk GOTY on sale but FG should be great for current gen cards in conjunction with those super-psycho RTX settings which bring down even a RTX 4090 to 30fps without FG. We'll see... maybe with a RTX 5090 we won't even need FG for playable fps at psycho settings.

Not quite right but you're in the ballpark:

Since DLSS 3 games are backwards compatible with DLSS 2 technology, all GeForce RTX gamers will also benefit

Us suckers on rtx 3 series wont get the extra boost from the 4 series Frame Generation technology.
So yes, your overall point is still correct.

Which, I assume, also includes the cost of fire suppression and/or extinguishing systems.

I still have it installed on my gaming rig and on my Deck but I keep bouncing off it. I just can't get into it. Very frustrating...
