Agreed, but in the end it's all about gameplay with games like this so hold your horses. Don't judge a book by its cover, as the old saying goes. I'm not gonna make any predictions, though. I lost that right when I said Skyrim was going to suck.

Nice graphics still don't make a great game. Not even in 2023. From the trailers, it looked to me like too much random shit thrown together just to look cool, pretentious, different and "artsy". I doubt that's enough to carry the game for more than the first two hours.

I'm not overly interested because of the incoherent premise. I don't need muh games to be super-realistic but there should be some plausibility and not just crazy shit mixed together for "artistic" purposes.

That said, the gaming press and the mainstream gaming community has already decided -based on the trailers- that this game is the latest super-cool shiznit that no one must miss. So, unless the devs really fuck it up, it will get showered with 9/10 and 10/10 reviews.

Really curious to see how this turns out. There was a Russian blogger who claimed the developers had a very shoddy history with multiple failures to fully deliver on past projects, but along with the language barrier it was hard to determine the blogger's own veracity, so who knows what's true or what isn't. The in-game footage I have seen looks pretty damn impressive, at least from a visual perspective.
