Only problem is, there are hundreds of people that are NOT guilty of anything that you're punishing just to spite one person if that's your only reason to not buy. Not quite the same as with a novel, where really there are only the writer, editor and printers involved. The development of a game employs a ton of people.

this isn't harry potter's legacy. it is about the school, the things in it, the magic system and probably some of the enemies. personally I never cared for the series, I remember sleeping through some of the movies, but I figure I'll probably get this if it reviews well.

Well Star Wars isnt called "Luke Skywalker:A New Hope", is it? Then it would be called "the Luke Skywalker franchise" same with LOTR.

according to steam best seller charts a whole bunch of people. pre-sales appear to have been much better rhan forespoken

I just dont get it. Feels like an overly ambitious hundred million dollar attempt to make money. I'm guessing it will be over-marketed, fall massively short on launch, too many bugs and angry fans.

Reviewers were unkind to Forspoken but I'm guessing Hogwarts will fare better.

I'm sure gamers will buy it anyway. Just like they pre-order every hyped game that comes along even after getting burned by the likes of cyberpunk or anthem...
