I'm seriously considering switching away from Chrome. I have Ad Block, but all these ads from Google keep getting through. The only browser I've seen that genuinely blocks them is Brave. However, I wouldn't say I like that it's built on Chromium. Is there another Chromium-free browser with excellent ad blocking?
Why not just run Pi-Hole on your network and block all ads at the network level? It's dirt simple, so much so that kids as young as 12 can figure out. Bonus, you're only maintaining one device that serves all clients instead of multiple clients (phone, tablet, PC, laptop, etc) with wildly varying control mechanisms.
I don't run Linux.
