My solution is to manually weed out the drivers. This takes less than two minutes. You unzip the *.exe with 7-ZIP (or a similar unpacking tool). Then you CTRL+A all folders, then CTRL+left click the keepers, press DEL to delete the "bloat" and then you run Setup.exe. Easy-peasy slim driver installation.
Yes, there are tools for this but why bother? Tools can be buggy or have malware. Manual mode is safer, quicker and easy as child's play.
Otherwise, I don't really give a shit about feature creep. Except for the totally unnecessary telemetry bullshit, it is awesome that the drivers address just about any use case scenario for a wide variety of users across many generations of hardware in one simple package.
Nerds can easily pick & choose by manually weeding out the drivers or by using a tool of their choosing or download a repacked slim driver package if they trust the source. Perfect.
