No, I meant D2K. As I stated previously, I have played all the Dune games that were released for the PC. Dune 2 was awesome for its time and D2K took that and polished it up. So while not as iconic as Dune 2, it was overall a better game.

I just want a solid Dune RTS and Spice Wars isn't it, unfortunately. Just let CA take the ideas behind Total War and apply it to Dune. That would be great.

Dune 2000. I have played all of the Dune games, including the one you linked which was always the odd man out. Cryo, being a French company, put a distinctively French view on the artwork and presentation of that game. I am not saying it was a bad game, mind.

A Total War style Dune game would be, in my mind, absolutely amazing,

Now they will be showing videos of remastered elements again... that won't be part of the Reforged 2 release version.

The original Warcraft 3 is one of my all time favorite RTS games... even played a ton of multiplayer in it, which is unusual for me with RTS.

If they fix up War 3 Reforged I'll be tempted to buy it, but I'll definitely wait for post release reviews. I skipped Reforged the first time, of course.

In slightly related news, I picked up the C&C Remastered on Steam from that last(or current?) sale... some game mechanics are better left in the past. C&C 3 was pretty much the highlight of the series, with some C&C Generals mechanics being slightly better, but holy shit does regular C&C 1 gameplay feel extremely dated.

So some deranged weasel VP at Activision realized, hey, we fooled them once with this, why not try the same thing again! Low risk, low to zero investment, high potential payoff if enough idiots bite again.

Man oh man. I had Warcraft III original installed since it came out for about 8 years straight. Probably my favorite RTS of all time with C&C Red Alert 2 coming in a strong second.

When I heard the announcement of Reforged, needless to say, I was like, HELL YEAH! BRING IT BACK! I fell for the pre-order and all. Damn what a mistake. I couldn't believe something like that could of been put out with Blizzard backing it. It's pretty damn bad. The graphics in some cases might be worse than the original.

I think they definitely need to revisit it with some Blizzard folks. I know they outsourced this one to be remastered and it clearly showed that they didn't do it justice. As of now and I've even reinstalled it since I did a new build, just to be sure it wasn't my old system... and it still sucks hardcore. I immediately uninstalled it.

I have zero recommendations for it and that sucks because Warcraft 3 was a great game in its time. The RPG/RTS element with smaller battles was awesome. Micro managing every aspect to keep every single unit alive in a crazy battle was awesome. I tried Starcraft 2 hoping it could be like my "next" Warcraft III but obviously they're two completely different games.

Okay, ending my rant of how salty I am that Warcraft Reforge sucks and they took my money and ran. I probably haven't even put in an hour because it sucked that bad.
