Never heard of "Notepads." Been using Notepad++ for over a decade. Highly recommend. It's usually the first thing I install on a new system.

Yup. My preferred text editor, and super customizable.

Microsoft announces new investment in ChatGPT-maker OpenAI.

I'm surprised that there aren't more restrictions on converting nonprofit organizations to for-profit corporations.

If nothing else, I'm surprised that they don't make them pay back taxes for all those tax-free years.

Seems like a tax dodge scheme waiting to happen.

I can't believe all the news I see around the Internet about "notepad now has tabs". Seriously? This is the big Windows enhancement that everyone is talking about? 🤣
Better 15 years late than never. Priorities.

It's kind of an embarrassment. Do you remember when they promised tabs in File Explorer for Windows 10? I think it's now available in Windows 11 but I'm not going to install that crap for a feature that should have been in the OS 20 years ago

Kate already has tabs and I like it as a simple text editor.
