I absolutely adore it, but I love the original as well. I am a huge fan of the cyberpunk and Denis Villeneuve so I wasn't a hard sell in the first place. I can certainly see how it isn't for everyone. I would say give the movie a chance by freeing yourself from distractions for the entire run time and just be absorbed by the pacing and atmosphere of the world the film creates.

Tron Legacy is just so much fun to watch and the soundtrack is one of my favorites.

I actually don't mind Jared Leto in Blade Runner 2049. I actually think he did a good job in House of Gucci though, it took me a third of the movie to recognize him. Not sure why it had to be him though.
